The Karaoke Host App That Kills the Paper Signup Sheet

You've got a mic, a crowd, and a clipboard with forty greasy names on it. Karaoke Cue replaces all of that with one QR code — guests sign up from their phone, and you watch the queue fill in real time.

What a karaoke host app actually needs to do

Most "karaoke apps" are songbook players or lyric screens. That's not the job. The job is managing the queue — who sang, who's next, and who's been waiting too long. A hosting tool earns its place only if it removes work from your night. That means:

• Frictionless signup — if a guest has to download something or make an account, half of them won't bother.
• A live queue — one screen showing every request in order, that updates itself.
• Zero setup per night — you want to open a link and go, not configure software at 9pm.
• Fair ordering — no one cutting the line because they shouted louder.

How Karaoke Cue works

1. Book your night. Choose Single ($4.99) or the 10-Pack ($39.99), set your start and end time, pay by card. You instantly get a unique signup link and QR code.
2. Guests scan and sign up. They point their camera at the QR code, type their name and song, and hit submit. The page switches itself on at your start time and locks at the end — no manual babysitting.
3. You run the queue. Open the host queue on your phone or laptop. Requests appear instantly. Tap a singer to mark them Now Playing, then Done when they finish.

When the night's over, download the full guest and song list as a CSV or Excel file. If you're on the 10-Pack, every event is saved in Backstage, your dashboard, forever.

Why hosts switch

A paper sheet works exactly once — until it disappears under a beer, until someone writes illegibly, until a guest wants to know how many turns away they are. Digital signup fixes the boring problems that eat into your night:

• No more "Where's the list?" every five minutes.
• Guests see the queue and manage their own expectations — fewer interruptions at the booth.
• You build a contact list from guests who opt in, ready for your next night.
• Branded page and QR code you can print on a table tent, pin to a wall, or drop in the group chat.

Frequently asked questions

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the signup page opens in the browser. Nothing to install and no account needed.

Do I need a laptop to host?

No. The host queue is a web page, so any phone, tablet, or laptop works. Open it during your event and songs arrive in real time.

Does it work for bars, clubs, and private parties?

Yes — anywhere you run karaoke. If you can print or share a QR code, you can run the night.

How much does it cost?

A single night is $4.99. The 10-Pack is $39.99, adds the Backstage dashboard, and saves about 20% per night. Credits never expire.
